The Therapy Aide provides essential support to the therapy team by escorting patients, transferring them on and off equipment, and performing patient/resident programs under supervision. The Therapy Aide also assists with maintaining the general upkeep of the department.
Under the direction of the Director and/or Assistant Director of the Physical Therapy Department, the Therapy Aide provides essential support to the therapy team by escorting patients, transferring them on and off equipment, and performing patient programs under supervision of a licensed physical therapist. The Therapy Aide also assists with maintaining the general upkeep of the department.
Under the direction of the nursing leader, the Certified Nurse's Aide assists in performing a variety of duties related to the physical care of the patients, including obtaining report of patient assignments from the RN at the start of the shift and providing meticulous care to each child. Certified nurse's aides are eligible for evening and night shift differential pay.
Under the supervision of the Director of Occupational Therapy, the Assistant Director manages the daily clinical and operational activities of the Occupational Therapy Department, including scheduling, shift coverage, work assignments, and payroll preparation. The Assistant Director supervises the staff occupational therapists and therapy aides, as needed.
Blythedale Children’s Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our dedicated team. This position involves evaluating and providing therapy for medically complex pediatric patients, from birth to 18 years old, with a wide range of diagnoses. The Speech Language Pathologist will develop and implement effective treatment plans, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and offer counseling to patients and families to support long-term outcomes.
Blythedale Children's Hospital is seeking Full Time Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) to join our team. Primary responsibilities on our 24-bed long term care unit, with floating responsibilities on our inpatient units. The ideal CTRS candidate is compassionate and skilled at assessing the unique recreational needs of infants, children and teens with medical complexities. Five shifts per week with a variable schedule: weekdays, 11:30a-7:30p (with evening differential); weekends, 9:30a-5:30p; and availability for three holidays (with premium pay).
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Nursing Team Leader functions as a clinical leader and expert on the unit to which she/he is assigned. The Nursing Team Leader oversees day-to-day clinical operations on the unit and provides support to the nursing staff, patients, and families.
