Overview

We are seeking creative and compassionate Creative Art Therapists to join our growing Creative Arts Team, specifically in the domain of Art Therapy and/or Dance/Movement Therapy. The ideal candidate would be skilled in facilitating group interventions, along with individual interventions, for patients, residents and their families. Therapists will play a crucial role in our larger Therapeutic & Developmental Support Services team, ensuring quality family-centered care, alongside our clinical multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate scheduled group program for both our inpatient population as well as residents on our long-term care unit.
  • Co-Facilitate group interventions within our larger Therapeutic & Developmental Support Services team (Therapeutic Recreation, Child Life and Music Therapy).
  • Navigate a referral base approach to individual session outreach

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of experience working in the pediatric setting in your designated area of expertise.

Education, Licensure, and Certification

  • Master’s Degree in Creative Arts, Art Therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy from an accredited school.
  • Licensed as a Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) and/or Board Certified – Dance Movement Therapist required.
  • Art Therapy Credentials Board Certified (ATR-BC) required.

Physical Requirements

  • Standing, walking, stooping. 
  • Ability to transfer children and equipment.
  • Ability to meet flexible scheduling demands and patient care needs.
